Week Two!

So here we are, two weeks later and I am surfacing enough to turn my attention back to this blog.

So far the run has been lovely – somewhat small houses that more than make up for their size by their attention to and seduction by the play. And it does seem to seduce… I keep hearing feedback from audience members about how they ended up dreaming the dream right along with Mary, and how the structure of the script allows them to really fall completely under the spell.

We had our first review this week as well. Louise Kennedy at the Boston Globe had some lovely things to say about our production. And it looks like the review has been helpful in bringing up our house numbers, which is very nice.
