New community outreach for storytellers of all stripes

Word comes from our friend – and Whistler Wednesday playwright – Carissa Halston about a new Literary Cocktail that is being planned:

Ladette Randolph, editor-in-chief at Ploughshares, will be hosting this event for her volunteer readers at Emerson’s literary journal along with the local literati. It’s not a reading, per se (though that’s not out of the question at some point), but more an opportunity to strengthen the local literary community and to encourage more interaction between poets, prose writers, playwrights, essayists, and storytellers of all stripes.

What: Literary Cocktail
When: Monday, April 5, 6-8pm
Where: The Plough and Stars
912 Massachusetts Ave
Cambridge, MA

For more information about this event, you can contact Carissa directly.
